About
Conventional newly-wed couple Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stranded with a flat tyre during a storm, stumble upon the spooky mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist, as well as a household full of eccentric characters and oddities. Through a plethora of arousing songs and dances, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation to the unsuspecting pair: the muscular hunk Rocky. Based on Richard O'Brien’s original play, this sci-fi spoof subverts and queers Frankenstein tropes and conventions, constructing a transgressive, progressive and revolutionary cult film; one which holds the title of the longest-running theatrical release in film history, continuously screening around the world in midnight showings, drag sing-a-longs and themed retrospectives.
