About
This screening of Julius Caesar will be presented in 35mm.
Shakespeare on screen does not get any grander than this magnificent rendering of Julius Caesar. Marlon Brando leads a stellar ensemble cast (also featuring James Mason and John Gielgud) as Mark Antony, who turns the Roman public against the assassins of Julius Caesar. In one of his early breakout performances, Brando lights up the screen with his intense performance – peaking with a fierce monologue on the steps of the Senate. Julius Caesar remains a rousing, gripping and deeply entertaining Shakespearean costume drama.
