The canals of Venice are replaced by a smoky London jazz club in this loose adaptation of Shakespeare's Othello. Patrick McGoohan (creator and star of the cult British TV show The Prisoner leads as Johnnie Cousin, a jazz drummer attempting to start a new band. Johnnie soon morphs into a scheming Iago when his contract offer to a singer is rejected and he decides to destroy her marriage in retaliation.
