Tap into your creativity at home and take inspiration from artworks in QAGOMA’s Collection, in this 2-hour workshop hosted by artist Dr Bill Platz. No matter your skill level, this virtual workshop is for you! In this session, you’ll learn approaches to storytelling by drawing from a live model in character, try out a new method of drawing using simple tools you have on hand, and explore the myth of distracted Narcissus. Materials required: *Baking, tracing paper or vellum *Wax crayons — various colours, including black (could be children’s quality crayons) *Craft knife, hobby knife, large sewing needle or any other sharp implement (adult supervision recommended) *Optional materials: black grease pencil or black oil pastel, white drawing paper These workshops are designed for all skill levels, from beginner to expert.
