In conjunction with 'Portrait of Spain: Masterpieces of the Prado', the La Sala del Prado interactive space invites children of all ages to take part in multimedia interactives and drawing activities especially developed to complement the exhibition.

Pepe's Great Escape!

Created especially for younger visitors, this multimedia quiz uses playful games and lively animations to bring to life a host of historical facts relating to art works in 'Portrait of Spain', including some of the fashion hits of the sixteenth century royal court, what a Spanish peasant could expect for dinner and the significance of the cacao bean.

'Portrait of Spain for Kids' Publication

'Pepe' the rabbit guides children through Portrait of Spain for Kids, a richly illustrated, hardcover book that introduces some of the most significant artists represented by the Prado's collection through ten selected art works.
