For Kids' APT7, the Children's Art Centre presents 13 engaging artist projects and artworks for children, offering visiting families insights into contemporary art across the Asia Pacific region. The Kids' APT7 projects are displayed in spaces across both the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) buildings, including the Children's Art Centre at GOMA.

Daniel Boyd History Is Made At Night 2012
Children were invited to reveal a hidden image using this touchscreen interactive.
Tiffany Chung One Day The Bird Flies Across The Sea 2012
Children were invited to draw or write a story from Tiffany Chung's display of glass animals in a special palm sized booklet.
Parastou Forouhar Persian For Kids 2012
Children were invited to create their own zoomorphic image – an animal shaped with Farsi lettering – in this multimedia interactive and share with family and friends.
Uji Handoko Eko Saputro (Aka Hahan) Memento Masko 2012
Children were inspired by Hahan's large mural, and could chose from a series of mask templates to draw their own expressions.
Roslisham Ismail Aka Ise Sira Pisang (Glazed Banana) 2012
Children were invited to try one of the artist's favourite dishes as a child, from the Kids' Menu at the GOMA Cafe Bistro during the summer holidays.

Kwoma Arts Kwaia Koromb 2012
The Kwoma Arts group built a small house for relaxing, called a Kwaia koromb, containing carvings and paintings that refer to the artists' visit to Brisbane and what they did and saw.

Erbossyn Meldibekov Family Album: From Queensland To Kazakhstan 2012
Erbossyn Meldibekov introduced young visitors to his homeland, its history, culture and landmarks. Children could add their image to a virtual travel album or send it to family or friends.
Paramodel Paramodel Joint Factory 2012
In this spectacular installation, the walls, floor and ceiling were covered with toy rail networks. Children could try their hand at creating patterns and shapes to add to the installation.

As part of the APT7 Chinese Animation cinema program, beautiful ink animations by Te Wei retold popular Chinese stories and fables.
Kids' Apt Drawing Project 2006-12
This display featured drawings from workshops with young people living in Papua New Guinea and Papua and were joined by a selection of drawings from past Kids' APT projects.
