About
'Blak Insights', an exhibition of contemporary Indigenous art from the Queensland Art Gallery Collection, features exhibition mascot Kuril, the hip, urban water rat, a free activity book and exhibition labels designed especially for kids.
By pressing audio buttons in the gallery spaces, young visitors can hear Kuril talk about some of the amazing art works on display ― paintings, sculptures, photographs and films by Indigenous artists from across Australia. Children and families can also explore Kuril's Gallery hideouts, where visitors can find out lots of interesting facts about Kuril and Indigenous culture.
