Alexandra is a Melbourne-based film critic on radio station Triple R and editor of the film journal Senses of Cinema. She has written four books on cult, horror and exploitation cinema, including her 2014 book on Dario Argento's Suspiria for the Devil's Advocates series by UK publisher Auteur. She has more recently provided a visual essay called "The Power of Perception" about the cinema of Dario Argento on Arrow Video's home entertainment release of The Bird with Crystal Plumage.
