Artist Scott Redford is giving away more than 500 artworks for free to bring abstraction to the people, celebrating the opening day of ‘Living Patterns: Contemporary Australian Abstraction’.

Dubbed the Iso Paintings and made over several years, including during COVID isolation, artist Scott Redford has painted hundreds of artworks, mainly on cardboard. The artist wants to use this vast collection of paintings to bring abstraction to the people of Brisbane, by giving away the artworks for free.

For one day only, collect your free, one-of-a-kind abstract painting from the GOMA Forecourt, courtesy of Scott Redford.

Strictly limited supply. One painting per person. Recipients must have a portrait photograph taken with the painting they receive, to participate in the project (see below for full details). The Abstraction for the People booth will close at 4.00pm or when stocks are depleted.
