About
Join Triennial artist Joydeb Roaja for a performance featuring the plung, a traditional flute played by the Mro people, one of the eleven different indigenous peoples who live in the Chittagong Hill Tracts in south-eastern Bangladesh.
Present in many of Roaja’s drawings, paintings and performances, the plung is a symbol of unity and resistance in the fight for the recognition and land rights of Indigenous people in Bangladesh.
