BARKAA is a Malyangapa, Barkindji woman, now living on Gandangara land, and fast rising to the top as one of the most respected voices in (so-called) Australian hip-hop. Her live shows pack a punch, full of energy and raw intense emotion. BARKAA recently released her highly anticipated debut EP, Blak Matriarchy (2021) a collection of powerful tracks that celebrate generations of Blak women, motherhood and taking control of one’s life path.
