Ryan Presley’s Blood Money Currency Exchange Terminal 2018-ongoing, is a participatory installation that reimagines Australia’s national currency as a celebration of Aboriginal history.
Visit the artist’s currency exchange booth between 10.00am – 2.00pm daily to exchange Australian dollars for Blood Money Dollars.
Blood Money Dollars are limited edition prints designed by the artist, featuring prominent Indigenous leaders, social advocates, warriors and writers.
All proceeds from exchanged funds are transferred to community organisations: Sisters Inside, Murri School, and Carinity Education Southside.
The Blood Money Currency Exchange Terminal is open daily from 1 Dec 2022 – 22 Jan 2023 (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Opening hours are subject to change. Exchange rates are not fixed and are subject to change.
