Join First Nations storytellers and creatives as they highlight artworks from QAGOMA’s Indigenous Australian Art Collection and explore the complex stories of history, culture and place that they tell.
In this season’s tour, explore the work of artists Teho Ropeyarn, Iltja Ntjarra artists, artists of the Hermannsburg School, Audrey Tigan, Paddy Bedford and more.
This season’s facilitator: Logan Bobongie is the Programs Coordinator at Aboriginal Art Co. Logan is a proud Wakka Wakka and Australian South Sea Islander woman.
This tour is held at 11.30am and 2.00pm on Sunday 9 July, 2023, during NAIDOC Week (3 – 10 July) in celebration and recognition of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The 2023 National NAIDOC Week theme is For Our Elders.
