About
Based on the autobiographical novel by Cheryl Strayed, Wild is a story about redemption found in solitude in the natural world. Reese Witherspoon is the troubled writer Strayed, who after reaching a crisis point in her life, decides to walk the length of the American Pacific Coast Trail. Traversing the Mojave Desert and the lush forests of Oregon, Strayed's walk is permeated with memories of the deep relationship with her mother, drug use and the events that led her to her walk.
