About
When a young teacher arrives in a forgotten village, he becomes swept up in the mysteries of the town which has been abandoned by men, who are drawn to wander the desert for eternity, while Djinns speak to children from enchanted wells. With each beautifully composed shot, this first film in Tunisian director Nacer Khemir’s ‘Desert Trilogy’, lovingly explores the richness of Arabian folklore and Sufi poetry.
