A heart-meltingly winsome robot is at the centre of this Pixar animation set in a future in which humans have excessively polluted to the point that earth is no longer habitable. While humanity float in space in blissful ignorance of the earth they've left behind, a lonely WALL-E is cleaning up the planet one scrap of paper at a time. When a new robot EVE arrives to assess whether there is life on earth, the possibility of regrowth, redemption and love is kindled.
