About
A prologue to a film as yet unmade, Touching the Skin of Eeriness follows the emotionally inaccessible Chihiro as he is taken in by his older half-brother in the wake of their father’s death. Although inexpressive with his words, Chihiro begins to practice a form of contemporary dance alongside Naoya under the fervent gaze of their teacher, played by celebrated choreographer Osaamu Jareo. A disquieting, mysterious portrait in which deep-seated violence seems to forever rumble below the surface.
