About
After using an anti-aging formula containing enzymes extracted from a queen wasp, cosmetics company owner Janice Starlin finds herself transforming into a murderous wasp-like creature. Director Roger Corman elevates the film with creative mid-century special effects, while the narrative features a surprisingly modern examination of powerful woman in society with strong feminist undertones.
