About
In this reflexive film about storytelling, an injured stuntman befriends a small girl with a broken arm in a Los Angeles hospital, telling her an epic tale about five heroes. As the story continues, the line what is real and imagined falters. Shot in extraordinary locations across India, Indonesia, Namibia, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Turkey, France, Italy and Argentina, and featuring striking costumes by Japanese designer Eiko Ishioka, Tarsem Singh’s vivid vision brings impossible realm of fairy tales to life.
