About
Master of horror Vincent Price stars as the eponymous Dr Phibes in this high-camp tale of love, madness, and revenge.
Deep inside a mysterious underground lair, an organ playing zombie scientist plots a series of nine elaborate murders against the surgical team who failed to save the life of his beloved wife. Using a fiendish collection of deathly mechanical devices (including a constricting jewelled frog mask, a portable hailstorm generator and an elaborate acid drip), the surreal vendetta of the terrible – and truly abominable – Dr Phibes is a brilliantly absurd display of misanthropic scientific ingenuity meets theatrical savoir faire.
