Ten Years Myanmar is a post-modern omnibus film featuring five stories set in a futuristic Myanmar. Crafted by five local directors who explore the future of their nation, each narrative tackles the theme of justice, intentionally leaving questions unanswered to encourage audiences to reflect on and engage in meaningful discussions about each story.

Viewers are invited to envision their own roles within a constructive society, as each story traverses form and style, in dealing with topics such as identity, technology, connection, existence and regulation.

The City of Bougainvillea

A couple’s romance takes an uncomfortable turn when the man in question starts to doubt his own existence and personal truths.

We Missed a Sunset

Two women living in a downtrodden construction site are joined by a man who promises to help them leave their district, but on the day of their departure, the man has seemingly disappeared and the women find themselves in an unknown futuristic space.

The Right One

A filmmaker released from prison enters the apartment of an old friend, where the past is recalled, the present is discussed, and the future is imagined, influencing his own reintroduction into society.
