Award-winning New Zealand filmmaker Sima Urale creates films that tell deeply moving personal stories, often from an outside point of view.
Still Life portrays an elderly Pākehā couple confronted by the daily struggles of illness and aging. After refusing to move into aged care following a long and tiresome battle with illness, husband Norm (John Hancox) and his ailing wife Margaret (June Bishop) make the ultimate choice to follow love into eternity.
