From 1999 to 2009, Tracey Moffatt and her editing collaborator Gary Hillberg produced seven montage videos that survey the enduring dramatic modes and genres of Hollywood cinema. Re-editing and juxtaposing video clips, Moffatt's montage videos create ironic commentary on the clichés of modern life played out in cinema. Revolution considers the stereotypes associated with cinema's depiction of revolutions and their consequences.
