About
Interviews with Rainer Werner Fassbinder, conducted in 1977 by the film journalist Florian Hopf who died in 1989. The recorded material remained unknown for a long time and was not edited until 1996. In one of the two interviews, we see Fassbinder lying in the grass more relaxed than in any other interview as he relates very personal details. The second interview was filmed in Berliner Strasse on the site of the Bavaria Filmstudio in Geiselgasteig near Munich and concentrates on technical and artistic aspects, as well as film policy.
