About
The first feature film from the Academy Award-winning Australian director, writer and animator, Adam Elliot, Mary and Max tells the story of an unexpected friendship between two pen pals: Mary Dinkle, an eight-year old girl living in the suburbs of Melbourne, and Max Horovitz, a 44-year-old man with Asperger syndrome living in New York. Touching, poignant and deeply moving, Mary and Max is a masterfully executed stop motion animation that explores the tumultuous nature of friendship and forgiveness.
