About
'The ninth Godzilla film, Destroy All Monsters takes us to the future of 1999, where all the world's monsters are safely isolated on an island called Monster Island. But alien women from the planet Kilaak (located between Mars and Jupiter) seize control of the monsters and unleash them upon the world, demanding earth's unconditional surrender. It's up to the scientists of the UN to break the alien's control of the monsters and save the world. Destroy All Monsters was intended to be the final Godzilla film and was indeed the final film created by all four of the original Godzilla auteurs: Tanaka (producer), Honda (director), Ifukube (composer), and Tsuburaya (special effects). They all outdo themselves with the final battle, featuring eleven of the studio's classic monsters.' Metro Cinema
