About
The film that caused the world fall in love with the Provence countryside features French acting giants Gerard Depardieu, Daniel Auteuil and Yves Montand. Jean de Florette follows the rivalry between two farming families. Depardieu is a newcomer from the city who adores his newly inherited farm. He undertakes the back-breaking work of making a living from the land while dealing with the setbacks caused by the scheming, self-righteous Auteuil and Montand.
