Jackie Brown (Pam Grier) is a middle-aged flight attendant and small-time criminal. When the FBI arrests her for smuggling drugs and money, she agrees to set up her boss Ordell (Samuel L Jackson) in exchange for immunity. Fearing Jackie has turned snitch, Ordell makes arrangements to take her out.
