Raoul Peck's uses writer and social critic James Baldwin's unfinished manuscript 'Remember this House' as the basis for a seething analysis of racism in the United States. The book was to be a revolutionary, personal account of the lives and assassinations of three of Baldwin's close friends: Medgar Evers, Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr. Narrated by Samuel L Jackson, Peck's film is part biography and historical account, as well as a powerful visual essay exposing overt and covert forms of racism in the United States.
