About
Tina (Eva Melander) lives deep in the woods and works as a border guard, where she uses her uncanny ability to sense hidden emotions of those around her to sniff out smugglers. Always an outsider, when she encounters Vore (Eero Milonof), she recognises something of herself and begins a journey of discovery which is both joyous and troubling. Ali Abbasi’s stark and twisted tale masterfully links the primal fears which underpin folklore to contemporary anxieties and injustices.
