The Australian Cinémathèque presents a free screening of Peter Weir's classic 1981 film Gallipoli on Anzac Day 2017. The film will be screened from a restored 35mm print courtesy of the National Film and Sound Archive.
The film tells the story of two young soldiers transformed by their experiences of war during the tragic Dardanelles expedition of World War One.
