About
Directed by and starring the legendary Sammo Hung, this full-throttle riff on The Dirty Dozen is an action-packed war drama.
Dropped deep into the heart of the Vietnamese jungle, 12 Chinese-American convicts are tasked with destroying a dangerous weapons cache before the Viet Cong can use it to their advantage. Their reward: a full pardon and a chance at a new life in America – if they survive. Teaming up with a group of Cambodian guerrilla soldiers, they must fight their way through mortal peril to reach their objective.
In her breakout role, Joyce Godenzi received acclaim (and a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Hong Kong Film Awards) for her scene-stealing performance as the leader of the Cambodian guerrilla fighters, standing out in a cast that includes such Hong Kong action luminaries as Hung, Yuen Biao and Yuen Wah.
