‘Me, Myself and (the letter) I’ features two films by prominent experimental filmmakers, George Landow and Hollis Frampton. Using a combination of text and motion, these films are both challenging visual puzzles and autobiographical reflections of the filmmakers themselves.

Remedial Reading Comprehension 1970

Director George Landow was a painter, writer, photographer and experimental filmmaker who regularly worked under the pseudonym Owen Land. Remedial Reading Comprehension utilizes, filmed sections, found footage, word play and humour. Landow jogs on the spot peering through a film image projected on to his face and body cheekily reciting, “This is really a film about you…”
