About
In an Australian suburban backwater, something incredibly unnerving is happening to its residents. An iconic entry in the Australian horror canon, Philip Brophy’s Body Melt delights in the conventions of the genre: outrageous amounts of bodily fluids, campy gore and bodies bursting with transgressive transformations. The sinister culprit is a new experimental drug dropped into the mailboxes of the unsuspecting neighbours of Pebbles Court, Homesville. The film boasts grotesque incarnations of a slew of well-loved, prime-time TV actors including Lisa McCune, Andrew Daddo, Ian Smith, Gerard Kennedy and William McInnes.
