About
Anne (Deragh Campbell) is a socially awkward day-care worker who discovers a love of skydiving at her best friend’s bachelorette party. Soon, her altitudinous obsession becomes all-consuming, and the emotional fault lines of her everyday life are thrown into stark relief.
Premiering to critical acclaim at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival, the film is driven by an intensely unguarded performance from Campbell as a young woman in emotional freefall. Independent Canadian filmmaker Kazik Radwanski’s Anne at 13,000 Ft is a gripping character study that recalls the gritty realist cinema of the Dardennes brothers and John Cassavetes.
