About
This program of documentaries features extraordinary stories of individuals acting within their local communities to change oppressive or violent situations for the better. The films celebrate small acts originating at a grass roots level of intervention, drawing on compassionate and courageous motivations that ripple out to wider positive consequences.
QAGOMA acknowledges all the archives, filmmakers and distributors who have generously provided screening materials for this program. Program curated by Rosie Hays, Australian Cinémathèque.
