In conjunction with the QAGOMA Collection exhibition ‘Gone Fishing ’ (until 21 Jan 2024 in GOMA), this program of films and events feature two powerful Australian documentaries which expand on themes of the exhibition: the threat of rising and warming seas, water contamination, and the struggles faced by Traditional Owners to continue to care for their sea Country.
After each screening, join us for a panel discussion with filmmakers, special guests and Curator, Indigenous Australian Art, Katina Davidson to explore the films and their synergies with the 'Gone Fishing' exhibition.
