About
QAGOMA is proud to present the Australian premiere of Dutch visual artist Fiona Tan's stunning debut feature. Known for her captivating lens-based works in moving image and photography, Tan brings to the screen one man's odyssey through Europe. Blending documentary, fiction and visual essay, History's Future follows a man's quest to find a sense of identity after a random mugging erases his former life. Skilfully exploring ideas of memory, time and history the film is an illuminating look at how identity is shaped in an ever-changing and unstable world.
