Fantastic Tales presents two recent award-winning feature animations for children. Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea 2008 is the most recent extraordinary adventure from celebrated Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki. The Secret of Kells 2009, from Irish directors Tomm Moore and Nora Twomey, tells of a young boy's quest to complete the legendary Book of Kells. This program is being presented in conjunction with Out of the Box, QPAC's festival for children aged 8 years and under.
