Let our Volunteer Guides share their knowledge and passion for art while taking you on a tour to explore our special exhibitions and collection works. Tours are free and take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Admission fees apply to some special exhibitions.

Volunteer guided tours for visitors with special needs
Tours for visitors with vision impairment
These tours offer a narrated description of the visual elements of artworks and are led by a volunteer guide. Tours are available on weekdays from February to November. Advance notice of 15 days is required. To book a descriptive tour, call the Education Bookings Office on (07) 3840 7255 between 8.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday or email educationbookings@qagoma.qld.gov.au.
Tours for visitors with hearing impairment
Volunteer guided tours for visitors with hearing impairment are scheduled once a month from February to November. Assistive listening devices (FM system) are available. As the number of devices is limited, bookings in advance are essential. A minimum of 2 business days is required and bookings are subject to availability. To book, call the Education Bookings Office on 3840 7255 between 8.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday or email educationbookings@qagoma.qld.gov.au.

Tours for visitors who are Deaf
These volunteer guided tours are accompanied by an Auslan interpreter from Deaf Services Queensland. Tours are usually scheduled at QAG or GOMA on the last Sunday of the month from February to November. No bookings are required.
